AMD is ready to launch its new Radeon HD 6970 and 6950 GPUs in the third week of December 2010. Word has it that the nVidia GeForce GTX 580 has better performance than the AMD’s new Radeon HD 6970, therefore AMD is expected to price the Radeon HD 6970 US$50-70 less than the nVidia GeForce GTX 580 to cover the disadvantage.
